In Celebration of June...

Celebrate June with LifePath!

The month of June was named for the Roman goddess, Juno. She was/is the guardian spirit of females and the patroness of marriage.

Juno was worshiped by the ancient Romans and was said to rule over all aspects of Roman life. She was called Great Mother or "Optima Maxima", which means the ‘best and greatest of the Goddesses’. Juno watches over and protects females from birth until they pass; for this reason, Roman women called their souls "juno" in honour of her. It was said that Roman women embodied a part of the Goddess's spirit, her own soul a juno, parallel to the genius of a man.

Throughout the 17th century, the silent woman in the image on the 5th card in the tarot was believed to personify Juno. She was thought to be the higher spirit that held the mysteries of our unconscious purpose and the secret pattern of our destiny. An eighteenth century tarot expert, however, changed the title from ‘Juno’ to ‘High Priestess’; the name most commonly used on tarot decks today. The High Priestess is connected with the New Moon, the phase of promise before fulfilment. She augurs a time of heightened intuition and curiosity of the esoteric.

The presence of Juno, the High Priestess, the 5th card in the tarot - whatever you want to call it - symbolizes that ‘something’ mysterious and unseen is at work in our lives.

The Goddess says: sometimes the best way to see clearly is to keep your eyes closed.

Affirmations for the month of June:
My connection with Spirit is one of co-creation
My definition of Fate is: ‘My Personal Power’

In celebration of the Goddess, Juno: For the month of June I will present you with enlightenment on The Secret Pattern of your Destiny (a $69.99 Value for $49.99). Similar to a Calendar spread, the Destiny Chart outlines specific phases of your life, throughout your life, along with the challenges and opportunities that surround you. In the words of William Jennings Bryan: ‘Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice, it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.’

Destiny and Fate are not circumstances that bind you without options. Destiny and Fate are merely Guides that make choices for you when you neglect to take power of your own direction.

Because…

On Life’s Path we are not without a map, nor do we walk alone… Allow the protective light of Juno wash over you and trust her to know what your spirit needs most to achieve your destiny.

With Love & Blessings,
Christine

Our Personal Covenant…

It doesn't take a person of insight to tell you that the more baggage you carry the more you'll be weighed down. You will slow. You will tire. You may even collapse under the strain. The issue I have is in what we deem baggage to be. I don't think negative experience constitutes as baggage. I don't think responsibilities such as family or work constitutes as baggage, either. And finances, sure they stress us out... but is that really baggage? Now that I really consider it, is it even the baggage that weights us down? Or is it what we're carrying in the bags that inhibits us from progression?

An experience is only negative if we agree that it is.
Someone or something only has power over us if we agree to give them our power.
We are only stupid or ugly or foolish or damned if we agree that we are.

I think we need to come to the place where we make new agreements. Don't you?

I have a project for you:

Please get a pen and paper and write out the covenants you're willing to make with yourself. Look at the list from time to time to ensure that you're staying on course. Six months from now reanalyze that list and evaluate how you've evolved.

I have done this - many times, in fact - and here are a few of my agreements:

I have agreed to be clear with my words.
I have agreed that only I'm allowed to have power over me.
I have agreed to be kinder and more understanding of me.
I have agreed to compliment myself at least once a day.
I have agreed that I will return home greater than when I arrived here.

Most importantly:

I have agreed that I will carry only the things I can use to realize my Life's Path.

What covenants are you willing to make with You?

The Demons Among Us…

Demons are among us.

They are not ugly, horned beasts, with greying wrinkled skin and long slimy tails. These demons are much, much worse.

They dwell inside us.

Their voices are disguised as our own. Their thoughts are our thoughts. They have the power to control us and prevent us from contentment and fulfilment. And there are many. There is one demon, however, that I know quite well. I have battled this demon many times throughout my life. I have also learned that the best way to weaken this beast is to shine light on it; to call it by name.

This demon is Fear.

I am afraid to be alone.
I am afraid that I'm unworthy.
I am afraid to be poor.
I am afraid to fail.
I am afraid to be seen as weak.

And Fear pulls the strings, causing us to do foolish things. It leads us into temptation and addiction. It influences us in how we treat others. It is the cause of insecurity, of hoarding, and of jealousy. It prevents us from moving forward. It prevents us from making the difficult choice. It prevents us from hearing the message that our spirit needs to hear:

I am not alone.

I am worthy of happiness.
I am not limited in my potential.
I am a strong and powerful spirit.
I am vulnerable and that vulnerability makes me beautiful.

My friend, let me tell you what Fear does not want you to know: You are a bright and shining light, filled with greatness and wonder. This world is yours. It was made for you. You are the past and the future and this world needs you to be present! Happiness isn't a quest: it is your birthright! It has been with you since the day you were born! Somewhere along the way it simply got misplaced under the clutter of everything your inner-demons have collected and stored within you since infancy.

So, how did Fear get this authority over you?

You gave your power to it.

I think it's time for you to take your power back.

Let that be the first Agreement you agree to make with You.

May: In Celebration of the Goddess, Maia

LifePath offers you a warm welcome to May!

Even as the first suggestion of warmth permeates the air, spring feels like the world is waking up. Renewal. Rebirth. Possibilities flourish. Seeds, both literally and metaphorically, are being planted with high hopes.

May is named for the goddess Maia, the goddess of increase. She represents the spring month, when some crops begin to bloom, while others are merely being sown. Keener intimation motivates us to follow our instinct and, yet, to pause before moving into action. For how we plant our garden will lend itself to the crop we yield. We must take our time; plant each seed with careful thought, plant each seed with thanks.

The universal vibration of this month is governed by the number 7. This implies the need for Reflection, Intuition, and Reserve. On the whole, the universal vibration doesn’t carry enough force to usurp your individual numerical influences, but still, it is a suggestive place to enter the season. For the offerings of 7 brings a richly rewarding promise: renewal is abound if we’ve learn our lessons well.

Affirmations for the month of May:
  • My calm is a shared stillness: I am weightless and free from negative burden
  • My vital energy flows naturally: I embrace life in its unlimited breadth
  • I have great joy, and therefore great energy and love to offer
  • I find my path by following my guiding will

The Goddess asks: If your life is a garden... what vital plant are you?

In celebration of the Goddess, Maia: When you order a one hour phone reading online ($69.99) or book a one hour reading in person ($75.00), a female friend or relative of your choice will receive a 30 minute Life Path reading for free.

Because…
On Life’s Path, we are not without a map, nor do we walk alone. We will always have The Goddess, Maia, to remind us that the attention and appreciation we give to what we plant will dictate the plentiful harvest we reap.

May your garden not only contain the beauty of God’s design, but the nourishment of what you need to sustain you.

Christine
